Julie McCarthy in brilliant form as Irish Ladies win Home Internationals

Julie McCarthy was in brilliant form for the Irish Ladies Team in winning both her matches in the deciding match v England.

Julie teamed up with Maria Dunne in the morning foursomes in the top match and won a vital point against the English pair of Gemma Clews & Sophie Lamb. With the match level going into the afternoon Singles, Julie had a magnificent 5/4 victory over Gemma Clews as Ireland ran out winners  by the narrowest of margins 5pts to 4.

Ireland were unbeaten throughout the week  with Julie playing a vital role in all the matches
