Well done Jack McDonnell on a brilliant start representing defending champions Connacht in claiming the scalp of Munster in the opening match of the the Men’s Interprovincial Championships being played this week at Moyvalley. Jack teamed up with Liam Nolan in the morning foursomes and delivered a comprehensive 4/3 win over their opponents. In the afternoon singles Jack continued his fine form and won his match v Jack Murphy with a great 4/3 victory and a crucial point as Connacht won their match 6.5 to 4.5. Next up is v Leinster on Wednesday, and we wish him the very best of luck.
