The 8th hole is a very strong Index 1 measuring 399 metres. The fairway slopes heavily from left to right and a fade tee shot usually ends up in the trees that border the right side.
The 2 bunkers at 220 metres, rough and out of bounds left of the fairway adds to the difficulty of negotiating your tee shot.
The best way to approach the green is from the left side, to avoid the bunker at the front right of the green. The green slopes from back left to the front right.
